I Am A Foreigner, Can I Rent?

If you are a foreigner residing in Singapore for less than 12 months, you must provide a foreign driving license including an International Driving Permit (IDP) issued by an authorized body from your country of origin; or an official translation of your foreign driving license in English if an IDP is not available.

For foreigners residing in Singapore for more than 12 months, you are required to convert your foreign license to a valid Singapore driving license.
